When I booked my scuba diving trip to Con Dao, Vietnam, I expected stunning reefs. And don't get me wrong, they were amazing. But then I discovered something on the Amadive itinerary: **Diving a Sunken Wreck**. My pulse jumped. This wasn't just a standard reef dive; this was an adventure into the past.

I have to admit, I felt nervous. Diving a wreck is serious business. But the crew at **Amadive** was fantastic. Their PADI instructors gave us an excellent briefing. We discussed our safety procedures, the history of the wreck, and what to expect below. Being in such a small group immediately more info put me at ease comfortable.

Descending was unforgettable. At first, it was just a dark shape in the blue, and then it appeared. It was huge. The ship is now a thriving new home, covered in corals and teeming with marine life. We saw giant groupers peeking from inside the cargo hold, and lionfish hiding in the cracks. The feeling of swimming alongside this giant, silent vessel is indescribable—haunting, awe-inspiring, and humbling all at once. It's a piece of history under the water.

For any a certified diver visiting Con Dao and looking for an adventure beyond the usual reef dive, I cannot recommend this **Con Dao wreck dive** highly enough. It was the unforgettable highlight of my Vietnam trip. A massive thank you to the **Amadive** crew for their expertise and for making this incredible adventure possible and safe.
